Barrel Sculpt, Anvil Sculpt, and Wheelbarrow
I modeled, sculpted, textured, rigged, and animated these 3D game-ready assets, using a variety of programs including Blender, Photoshop, 3DS Max, Maya, and Mudbox. The design aspects in this project required thourough reference material to effectively recreate a life-like object. Special attention was given to surface imperfections, especially with the anvil model.
On the animation side, I rendered image sequences of the various objects in motion and compiled them in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Designed in Adobe inDesign with indivividual elements designed in Photoshop and Illustrator.
This brochure serves to showcase what the Great Books Program offers students at Mercer University.
In terms of design, this was the first project of mine that used text-wrapping to a greater effect. A lot of thought went into the layout of the brochure, with special attention paid to ensuring the various sections had their own column and didn't spill over past the fold.
There is a clear sense of hierarchy, with titles using larger and heavier weight fonts, and body text using a lighter, sans-serif typeface. The green and its tints used throughout the design were useful for calling out important details and framing the composition.
I am quite proud with how the masked images turned out, specifically, Stone Henge with the green bar filtering through the arches, and Petra.

T-Shirt Design, Sticker Design, and Memorial Logo for the Phoenix 5K Fun Run.
Facebook Frame for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
All of these designs were created using Adobe Illustrator and Procreate. The imagery of the telephone and house are not my designs, but are assets of Crisis Line & SafeHouse, as is the original phoenix that the t-shirt and sticker designs are based on.
Everything included in this project was created with scalability in mind, utilizing vector graphics and the .pdf file type. The t-shirt, memorial logo, and sticker designs were created with printing in mind as the final product, and were thus designed using the CMYK color profile.

One Earth is an informational poster concerning the environmental impact of plastic.
The only print in existence was sold at the 2019 St. Francis Arts Center Gallery Showing.
Of the designs included in my portfolio, this one might rely on balance the most, both in the composition of the poster and the content of the type.
With printing in mind, this was designed in CMYK at full size, using high-resolution imagery, and exported as a PDF with proper crop marks for trimming the bleed.

Posters advertising a restrospective art showing of Jan Tschichold's body of work.
Designed in Illustrator, these posters were created in the style of Jan Tschichold, famous typographer and designer. The first poster is inspired by the series of movie posters designed by Tschichold for Director Phoebus Palast. The most direct influence being the posters for Orient-Express and Die Hose.
The second poster is most closely related to the poster Graphische Werbekunst, which, from what I have gathered, referred to a showing of his Work in Mannheim.
Design-wise, the first poster relies on movement heavily, with the angled text and the bisected background of red and white. The second poster focuses more on hierarchy, dictated by color, contrast, and weight.

One-page foldable zine designed in inDesign, Illustrator, and Procreate.
This project is designed as a print-at-home piece, that would be cut horizontally in the middle and then folded to create a pocket-sized zine with six interior pages.
This is the project that really turned me on to layout design. I was personally invested in this project and it sparked my interest in both making and collecting zines, big and small.
The illustrations I created were intended to blend the fiction with reality, combining aspects from within the game with those of actually getting together with friends and playing it.

This project encompasses a menu, brochure, table tent, and website for the fictional high-end Chinese restaurant, TOWN.
The first three pieces were created using inDesign, with Photoshop for individual asset creation and image editing. The website was created using DreamWeaver, and utilizes HTML and CSS in its code.
The print materials all fits within the brand's style guide, using the logo, typefaces, and color palette required. The imagery used is consistent with the brand's identity and message as a high-end Chinese restaurant.
The website is the same in terms of design. The layout heavily relies on the flexbox toolset offered by CSS.

This logo designed using Illustrator and Procreate.
After some initial thumbnails, the client and I were able to determine the direction and imagery required by the logo to properly represent their organization.
The client required iconography that symbolized both the criminal justice and medical aspects of the organization. With my help, Lady Justice was chosen for the former, with the alteration of a caduceus instead of the sword for the latter.
The teal ribbon represents awareness for sexual assault.

Travel poster designs that evoke the creepy and eerie feelings portrayed in the short story.
From here on, the posters will be refered to as the House Poster and the Creature Poster, respectively.
Cultivated from a selection of ten thumbnails, these two designs were the ones that made it through peer critique. It was with this project that I really experimented using texture and illustrating glow effects.

Depicted is the background and assets from the interactive animation Space Janitor.
The design process started out on paper and in Adobe Photoshop, sketching out the composition and a rough idea of the individual elements. The final version seen here was created using vectors in Adobe Animate.
This project represents an artistic endeavor where all of the aspects are my original work. The art, music, sound effects, code, and writing that went into creating Space Janitor are all completely mine.
Space Janitor is the strongest example of my illustrative style.
